I read many posts on clustering JBoss and distributed cache on entity bean but I'm doing a lot of confusion...
As far I have understood if I cluster two or more JBoss instances, I have to set commit option B on my entity bean. Doing so, entities are not cached and they are synchronized at the DB level.
I read some post of the JBoss staff saying that there is no planning to implement a distributed caching algorithm inside JBoss and the only currently available implementation is the Gemstone product ($$$).
Anyway, searching trough the forum "Cache on JBoss" I found some posts on "First draft on cache available".
Is this an internal project on distributed cache ? Any date planned ? Would be a feature of JBoss 4 ?
Thank you in advance
