Hi guys
I need help.
I'm trying to call EJB's from a client to a server and there are 2 firewall
between them.
I can only use the ports 80, 5432 and 1099 and i know are opened.
I'm using JBoss 2.4.7 and can't upgrade
RedHat 8.0
So i configured the 2 machines (each one is client/server at the same time)
with the ports
JNDI : 1099
RMI: 80
RmiPort in jboss.jcml: 5432
Doing a nmap command i see only 80 and 5432 open.
When i try the connection to 10.254.180.3:1099 after some minutes it answers
with
error during JRMP connection establishment; nested exception is:
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
I've read many helps, tried many jndi.properties & jboss.properties
configurations, but the error is always the same.
DO i need other ports?
