In case others would like something similar on Linux, the Community Edition of Out-of-the-Box works on both Windows and Linux. It optionally installs JDK 1.4.1_02, JBoss 3.2.0, MySQL 4.0.12, Ant 1.5.3, JUnit, and a bunch of other projects. It starts both JBoss and MySQL as a service on either Windows or Linux.
It's free, does not expire, and does not require registration.
