I can get this done for the DR2 release, I'm planning on doing the same
thing for xdoclet-module-jboss-aop.jar for the AOP code.

I prefer #1 too.

I'm thinking these should go in a ${jboss.home}/tools/xdoclet directory
or something similar, rather than in lib or client or docs.
