OSWorkflow does not run on JBoss out of the box and getting everything on JBoss and using your own datasource was a bear. They have a multi-page HOW-TO on porting to Oracle on JBoss but it references files that no longer exist in the current build. Some packages use XDoclet and other packages do not so there is no simple build process for the whole enchilada. I am looking at Open Business Engine and the main benefit here is the WfMC standard for workflow XML is supported.
