Thanks adrian...
But if i use Instance per Transaction then it slows down everything. I an using JBoss-3.2.1-Tomcat-4.1.24. I am recently in the process of moving from Jboss-2.2.2 directly to 3.2.1. The same tx settings works fine in the previous version with out any dead lock but with the new i have this problem. So just by a trial i turned it to NoLock and not my knowledge. I am using commit option A but i dont know what i am missing or ..may be if u can share some of ur knowledge and experience might help me thanks and regards jani -----Ursprngliche Nachricht----- Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Auftrag von Adrian Brock Gesendet: Dienstag, 8. All EJB deadlocks should be detected within jboss (which version?) except the RequiresNew self deadlock. Even then, the transaction timeout should roll it back. If you are going to use NoLock, you should use the instance per transaction configuration.
