Sorry, If this has already been answered, but I am unable to search this mailing list from sourceforge and the jive groups on jboss.org have not answered this question.
Our company is trying to access jms from behind a firewall and we are trying to determine which invocation layer to use and which ports need to be opening. I am assuming that 1099 for JNDI is required and 80XX ports depending on which socket invocation layer is being used. However, the client keeps trying to bind to a random port. Do any of the invocation layers work thru firewalls and only bind to specified ports?
