This is an ad for RimuHosting's JBoss hosting. Please forgive me if you
don't think its appropriate for the list. I've seen a couple of other
announcements in the past and am not sure what the policy is. (Please flame
me off list if need be).

===

RimuHosting provide JBoss Hosting. We have a JBoss plan with 128MB of
memory, 4GB of disk and 60GB of data transfers for $39.95/month.

It can be used to:
- Host a public JBoss based web site
- Provide a testing or development server
- Have a warm standby copy of your production site on the VPS

We use User Mode Linux Virtual Private Servers for our hosting. The VPS
setup provides functionality equivalent to dedicated Linux server (except
server resources are shared and prices are a lot lower):
- Install whatever JBoss version you need.
- Configure JBoss how you want it.
- Use whatever ports you desire.
- Erect whatever firewall rules you need.
- You have a private JVM (private server in fact)

More details about the service can be found here:

FWIW: The RimuHosting web site is running on Jetty/JBoss. All content pages
are JSP based. And the back end ordering/support systems use stateless
session beans. And the site is running on one of our VPSs, of course. I've
found the Jetty/JBoss combination to be very fast, reliable and (after a
initially steep learning curve) quite easy to work with.

Sign up this week and mention this email on the signup form, and I'll drop
the setup fee. Setup's are currently going to our newest server, a Dual
Xeon 2.0Ghz with SCSI drives. Nice and fast.

Regards, Peter
