I found the error of my ways.  In my build.xml I had told the jboss 
target that the version was 3.0.  This was putting a URL to the 3.0 DTD 
in my jbosscmp-jdbc.xml file and that is why the verifier was telling 
me that <auto-increment/> failed to pass the DTD.
