Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3820398 The mysql prepare.ddl ( in both in the RC1 and also in the 2004 Jan 17 & 2004 Feb 4 CVS snapshots ) is faulty; it still suffers from "ERROR 1221: Wrong usage of DB GRANT and GLOBAL PRIVILEGES" (explanation: privileges like "FILE" are global, and can't just be applied to a single database). But something like this ought to work: GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, DROP, ALTER, INDEX ON nukes.* TO 'nukes'@'localhost' WITH GRANT OPTION; GRANT FILE, RELOAD, REFERENCES ON *.* TO 'nukes'@'localhost'; This worked for me; and probably someone with CVS privileges should update the master. But I get the strong feeling that prepare.ddl & the other ddl files are obsolete vestiges of an earlier design... and we should be working with the setup.xml files instead.... but I haven't found a clean way to do that yet. (For what I'm guessing is the new (undocumented) way to get Nukes going, see post under "CVS does not build anymore"on Nukes Development -- http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=quote&p=3820396 ) ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
