Ok, it was something simple.  On the Launch Configurator in WSAD, if you go to the 
'Common' tab and then down to 'Debug Mode' change from 'Default' to 'Debug' and then 
you can fully debug your application (breakpoints, step into/over, etc.) within WSAD 
while it is running in  the JBoss server.  Following the previous post to get it all 
initially setup in WSAD and then you'll be able to debug your app deployed to the 
JBoss server within the WSAD environment.
