I think I have seen about 4 or 5 cross posted questions today (Including this one) 
that I could quite hapily put together an answer to point them in the right direction.



Why should I bother when they have started a discussion in multiple places, before you 
know it the discussion could start moving on in all of the forums that the question is 
posted in with no easy way to keep track of what everyone else is saying.



When someone it told to post their message in the correct forum it is easy to see that 
that thread should end.  A new thread in the correct forum can then be used - that way 
the same topic is not going to be discussed in multiple places.
