Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3821798 Hi, I had downloaded jboss-3.2.3 and installed on windows 2000.I had set the env variable jboss_dist to jboss's installation directory. >From command prompt, i startd the jobss and it starts.it shows that 10:23:19,184 INFO > [Server] JBoss (MX MicroKernel) [3.2.3 (build: CVSTag=JBoss_3_2_3 >date=200311301445)] Started in 2m:413ms This means that server had started. Now when i type http;//localhost:8080/jmx-console/index.jsp in browser, it prompts me to enter the network password i.e. username and password.
