Hello...
Doing some tests on 3.2.3 w/ Tomcat 5, previously using 3.2.2 and Jetty 4
with no problems.
My application uses Log4J, 1.2.8.
When deploying, I see this:
java.lang.VerifyError: (class: org/apache/log4j/Category, method: getRoot
signature: ()Lorg/apache/log4j/Category;) Wrong return type in function
I did some searches on the list archives here and for log4j with no
results...
My code does really basic logging using the following line:
cat = Category.getInstance("RV: searchServlet"); //log4j
So, am I doing something illegal? Anyone else ever seen this?
Cheers,
Hunter
