Have a client who is attempting to use JBOSS on an IBM Zseries (mainframe) Linux (SUSE SLES8) platform.
I am a Jboss newbie and need help debugging this "run away" process. They fire up Jboss and lots of processes get spawned...and the count seems to continue to grow....even though they are not really using Jboss....just starting it. Eventually the mainframe LPAR memory gets exhausted and nothing works on the SLES8 system. Here is the process: linux1:~ # ps -elf | grep 21618 002 S root 21618 21547 0 80 0 - 78347 rt_sig 10:22 pts/0 00:00:00 java -Dprogram.name=run.sh -classpath /home/orrjx/jboss-3.2.3/bin/run.jar:/lib/tools.jar org.jboss.Main -c default <a href="http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3825407#3825407">View the original post</a> <a href="http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3825407>Reply to the post</a> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
