We have an application (in an EAR file), on the redeploy of which memory does not get
released by JBoss. We're running JBoss 3.2.1 with integrated Tomcat 4.1.24 and J2SDK
1.4.2-b28 (64 bit mode) on a Solaris 8 system.

When there was a lot of static content in the archive (images, flash files, etc.) the
archive was around 18 MB, and every time the EAR file got redeployed some 36 MB of
memory would be 'eaten'.

Removel of the static content resulted in an increase of only 1 MB on every redeploy.
This is still not what we want, but at least it's more manageable.

Is this a known bug in 3.2.1? There's nothing we can do to release the static files
ourselves.

Thanks,

- Peter
