You need the JBoss DD:

/META-INF/jboss.xml 

Example:

  | <!DOCTYPE jboss PUBLIC "-//JBoss//DTD JBOSS 3.2//EN" 
"http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/dtd/jboss_3_2.dtd";>

  |    <enterprise-beans>
  |       <session>
  |          <ejb-name>HelloWorld</ejb-name>
  |          <jndi-name>ejb/HelloWorld</jndi-name>
  |       </session>
  |    </enterprise-beans>
  | </jboss>
  | 

The ejb-name in jboss.xml must match your ejb-name in ejb-jar.xml.
