Show me the thread dump for UIL2 OIL is deprecated because it has known synchronization problems.
Are the first two threads supposed to match up? If so they are both waiting for each other, nothing is going to move. I would need to see a log to work out why the server is waiting for a response from a client that is not doing anything. There have been problems reported before with Solaris because it has some stupid keep alive setting. I am sure you can find it using search. Finally, if these are in the same VM, why aren't you using java:/ConnectionFactory or java:/JmsXA?
