Hi,
Add the following line to your sybase-ds.xml:
<check-valid-connection-sql>select 1</check-valid-connection-sql>
If the sybase is down, all connections in the pool are invalid.
The pool doesn't check them before handing them out and you get
this Exception.
With the above property, the pool executes a "select 1" any time
a Connection is returned to the applications. This query causes an exception. After
that the conneciton is dropped and a new one
will be created.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
