Given the presence of the following bug in IE http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q316/4/31.asp this is a fairly serious problem.
If you are running Apache as a web server front-end to JBoss-Tomcat, you can use mod_header to remove the Pragma and Cache-control headers. Add the following lines to the httpd.conf file: Header unset Pragma Header unset Cache-control However, this is not an ideal solution, hopefully the JBoss folks will find a better workaround in the near future!
