I've enabled logging so that I can see the SQL queries as they happen... And I've discovered that whenever I get an object from the DB that contains a java.sql.Date field, JBoss always does a write back to the database of that field. For some reason it thinks it's dirty.
It seems like this write (UPDATE statement in logs) happens in my getData() method, which does nothing but pass back a value object that represents the bean. Anyone know what might be the issue? I am using an Oracle 9i database. Thanks.
