I'm new to JBoss but not resin. I've been following the getting
started pdf. I downloaded jboss 3.2.5 and copied the default dir to
foo. The guide says you can add and delete the folders under deploy to
add and delete the corresponding services. Well, I need to run resin
on port 8080 and configure it to serve jsps and servlets, and get it
to look up ejb's in jboss via jndi. So I deleted the
jbossweb-tomcat50.sar folder and ran "run.bat -c foo", intending to
run resin separately. JBoss started but with truckloads of exceptions
relating to Tomcat. Even if this would have worked, I can't see how I
can just go to say http://localhost:8080 and navigate through the
admin pages - resin wouldn't know of them. Am I being too simplistic,
and if so can anyone tell me how I should proceed? Thanks..
