Two things: 1) I have read, that if you use JBOSS+Sybase, you might experience transaction logs and sutff. So I don't think "any database you like" applies here. But, since there is no auto-increment template in Sybase datasource mapping configuration in standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml, I don't know how to tell container to create table with IDENTITY column needed by "sybase-fetch-key" entity command.
