Then emerge -v jboss and you'll be on version 3.2.5. I'm currently running 3.2.3, but will probably switch over to 3.2.5 soon to expirament with clustering.

I'd use a newer version and custom install, which I tried and it works, but I can't find a startup script that works (bash shell) and I'm not familiar enough w/ shell scripting to do anything about it.
