Hi ,
How can you connect to sql server (MSDE) without getting socket exception?
I wonder if you can connect without specifying //localhost:1433.....
the MSDE will only connect localy, not on socket
My connection code looks like this...

  <local-tx-datasource>
    <jndi-name>MSSQLDS</jndi-name>
<connection-url>jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://localhost:1433;DatabaseName=myDB</connection-url>
<driver-class>com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver</driver-class>
    <user-name>x</user-name>
    y
</local-tx-datasource>

Thanks
Bjorn
