Do you use a .sar file?  If so, in your .ear file, put the .jar file into some 
sort of directory (like lib/c1.jar) and declare it part of the classpath for 
both .sar and .war:

  |   <target name="ear">
  | 
  |     <jar jarfile="${ear.dir}/foo.war">
  |       <manifest>
  |         <attribute name="Class-Path" value="lib/c1.jar
  | 
  |     <jar jarfile="${ear.dir}/foo.sar">
  |       <manifest>
  |         <attribute name="Class-Path" value="lib/c1.jar
  | 

etc.
