Yes, they are disabled, but still nothing. Iptables disabled either. :)
But i found an error message when i tried to access the server on the 
1099 port from a browser it may mean something: 

mapping configuration error, favicon.ico
 
or something like this. And one more thing. The servers are in a DMZ, and I 
dont have access to configuration. I am newbie at linux too. :) Can the problem 
be, that the port 1099 is somehow disabled in network devices, e.g. switch, 
router?
