I had to extend the ejb-jar.xml by 

<role-name>bankCustomer</role-name>
 
                <ejb-name>CustomerBean</ejb-name>
                <method-intf>LocalHome</method-intf>
                <method-name>*</method-name>
            
            
                <ejb-name>CustomerBean</ejb-name>
                <method-intf>Local</method-intf>
                <method-name>*</method-name>
            

            
                <ejb-name>TxBean</ejb-name>
                <method-intf>LocalHome</method-intf>
                <method-name>*</method-name>
            

          
                <ejb-name>TxBean</ejb-name>
                <method-intf>Local</method-intf>
                <method-name>*</method-name>
