there appears to a different relationship between the way Dependant was used and the way Embedded is being done. I assume this is because Bill & the gang have an updated version of the spec from Sun that we don't have access to yet. So I'm afraid I dont know what the DependantAttribute equivalent is until I get time to look into that part of ejb3, but i suggest you look at the cvs files to try to figure it out until preview 3 is released.
