The Marketing Programs Manager Position JBoss is an enterprise software company which makes all of its revenues through services. Therefore it is critical to JBoss? success that a set of programs are developed and implemented which provide a platform for generating incremental services revenues, enabling subscription renewals and creating new revenue streams. Examples of such programs would include: * Application Certification Program - Self-certification package coupled with consulting services - Targeted primarily at Independent Software Vendor channel * Developer Certification Program - Brand creation around multiple levels of qualification - Eg Developer / Professional / Architect - Targeted primarily at Channel partners * Migration Services Program - Architecture consulting, methodology and tools to migrate to JBoss - Targeted primarily at JBoss? enterprise customers * Customer Satisfaction Program - Annual survey of all customers - Quarterly reviews for Tier 1 customers - Quarterly reviews for Tier 1 partners The Marketing Programs Manager will lead the development of these and other important programs and work closely with the JBoss Services team and other organizations inside and outside of JBoss to ensure successful program launches and implementations. Required Skills and Experience ? 8+ years of professional work experience ? 5+ years working for a high technology organization (software, hardware, services, electronics) ? Proven program development and implementation capability ? Strong communication and presentation skills ? Must be highly motivated, self-sufficient, perceptive, ambitious, flexible and high energy ? Ability to travel internationally Preferred Skills and Experience ? Channels and/or Alliances experience ? Business Development experience ? Product Marketing Management experience ? Ability to deal with change and limited structure Location This position would ideally be located in the JBoss worldwide headquarters in Atlanta, GA but other locations will be considered for the right candidate.
