Hello, I am guessing you are using jboss 4.0.0 or 4.0.1sp1? In this case, it is a bug and it is fixed in the 4.0.2RC1 which you can find here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=22866&package_id=16942 If you can not, for legacy reason or you just do not want to use an RC :), change to 4.0.2 you can implement an type mapping override with the correct 'result' in the ws4ee-deployment.xml descriptor as described here: http://www.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=WSTypeMapping The easiest way of doing it is to copy the type mapping from an already deployed wsdd file (JBOSS_HOME/server/<server nam>/data/wsdl//...), then change the 'returnQName' as follows: | returnQName='result' | This did resolve my problems.
