Hi I realised this after I posted the query to the forum that that if you remove the or comment out the following line
org.jboss.cache.DummyTransactionManagerLookup from your Jcache configuration XMl file the exception is gone away . Also if you want to run something in a welogic transcactional context just move your methods to a weblogic session bean.
