Forgive me if this is the wrong forum for this post, I'm not entirely familiar
with JBOSS or what JMX is, but I'm looking for information on management, so it
seemed appropriate.

I'm an IT guy with a company that develops in JBOSS. I was asked to find some
sort of software that not only monitors JBOSS instances, but individual
applications within those instances (we multihome) and allow stopping and
starting of these individual applications from the interface.

I've written a ton of shell scripts to try to manage all this, but a nice web
based solution that all the developers could use for stop/start and the IT guys
can use for monitoring would be ideal. Does such a tool exist (Windows or
Linux preferably)?

I've come across some instance monitoring tools (such as ManageEngine
Applications Manager 6) but nothing that delves into the individual application
level. Thanks for any ideas.
