Hi,
I have found that to overcome a limit of a 32K blob object, the
SetBigStringTryClob property needs to be set to true
eg.
Properties prop = new Properties();
| prop.setProperty("user","fakenotrealhanigotohell");
| prop.setProperty("password","fakenotrealdontlookatmebileblogbites!");
| prop.setProperty("SetBigStringTryClob", "true");
| Connection connection =
DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:@//10.0.101.103:1521/rmdb", prop);
As I am using CMP beans, I am not using code like the above.
Is there anyway to set this property to true in the oracle-ds.xml file or the
standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml.
I have tried placing :
<connection-property name="SetBigStringTryClob">true</connection-property> in
the oracle-ds.xml file and it doesn't seem to work.
