Right now we have JBoss running as a window's service using Java Service. Our problem is that the JBoss service's status goes to started before all of the JBoss services have actually come up.
The progress monitor dialog comes and goes very quickly. Mainly that's because the progress monitor is monitoring how fast JBoss' boot strap service comes up. Is there a way to change the way JBoss starts up so that it will wait for all the configured services to come up before returning back to the Windows service. Sort of a synchronized start rather than the asynchronous start it's doing now? I've looked all over the Wiki and found nothing other than a synchronized shutdown which waited for all the services to shutdown before shutting down. I need the equivalent in startup.
