Still don't see why you need the RpcDelegatingCacheLoader. Simply - use a replicated cache - backed up with a JDBCCacheLoader
Then you have in memory replication with a persistent backup (the DB) across the cluster. I'm not supporting any remote CacheLoader, this will be officially support in the 1.2.5 release.
