In my development environment I deploy to an exploded .war directory which works great. However, I have a ANT task that copies in modified JSPs to that same directory but this seems to trigger the web app to restart.
I have a rather large web app so restarting it takes some time, my question is, is there a way to modify a JSP without restarting the web app? In other application servers that I've worked with this process does not restart the web app but will recompile the JSP the next time the JSP is accessed. I'm using JBoss 4.0.2 View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3889366#3889366 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3889366 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ JBoss-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jboss-user
