In my development environment I deploy to an exploded .war directory which
works great. However, I have a ANT task that copies in modified JSPs to that
same directory but this seems to trigger the web app to restart.

I have a rather large web app so restarting it takes some time, my question is,
is there a way to modify a JSP without restarting the web app? In other
application servers that I've worked with this process does not restart the web
app but will recompile the JSP the next time the JSP is accessed.

I'm using JBoss 4.0.2
