The first command you are looking for is 'shutdown -help' this will show you the various command line arguments that are available.
The argument you need is: - | -s, --server=<url> Specify the JNDI URL of the remote server | The URL should be the JNP Url to connect to the specific instance i.e. 'jnp://127.0.0.1:1099' but with the IP address of the instance you want to stop.
