The reason you cannot get a current node from a pi directly is that the pi 
contains tokens which are in a certain node. I've you've seen the default 
webapp of jBPM, you can see that the 'active' nodes are highlighted. If you 
look at the code of the ProcessImageTag (take the most current one from cvs) 
you can see how that is done.
