the wtp project does not bump their version numbers for their M and RC releases thus an updatesite will no know the difference between two versions of the WTP parts. Best thing you can do is either remove all WTP plugins manually and then use the updatesite again - or simply download the standalone jboss ide and install the plugins manually.
