Thanks Peter, I just found this too. I added full dom4j.jar and jaxen.jar back to lib/, it works fine now.
How to make a better solution? I already put dom4j.jar and jaxen.jar into deploy\mydomain-rdsstartup.sar\ directory (part of deploy location in jboss-service.xml), apparently they are not being picked up by Jboss class loader.
