There are also some problems shutting down the RemoteCache that I need time to look at. I'm not sure if these are related. I'll try to look at this in the next 2 weeks...

As far as I can tell the rest of JCS seems to shutdown, but the JCS lateral threads keep running and trying to connect to the other servers forever.
