Yes! You seem to be right. I think when downloading to a windows platform cvs might subsitute the unix-lineends by windows-lineends. While useful for textfiles this should not be done for binary files like jar files. When downloading to windows the file gets another length, that should not be. I you do a $ cvs -z8 co -kb dbforms/dependend after your first checkout, you will download the jar files again, but this time in binary mode. This time your archives are hopefully ok. Surely that should happen automatically for binary files. I am anything but a cvs professional, so currently I don't know - was that option (-kb) forgotten when uploading? How can we check? - how can we set that option now for these files? do we have do check in the same files again, this time with option -kb? - or is it something that happens just with that client? Can anyone help?
