Maybe it is not bad to try to summarize current status
from time to time:
On 2002-10-2 I suggested:

Unfortunately personal circumstances will prevent Brad from completing
his multidb contribution. I asked him to sent current version to Luca
who needs to integrate his pooling factory better yesterday than tomorrow.
We must search for a solution to complete what Brad has done, we
should definitely try to integrate it. Would be not bad if help is offered.

Eric is currently adapting his work to the results of our
discussion. He then will upload them himself. We already
have a first version of devgui extension to automatically

Henner has already discussed and after that uploaded his
searching extension, but I expect more to come....
Henner must know how to publish the documentation.

We must discuss how to create releases (I would suggest to
add a new ant task) and where to publish them.
It is now also clear that we need someone to maintain the
documentation (see other post today). We must also talk about
where to publish it.
What else:
- Henner will add an extension to make it possible
to use connection properties, but currently waits for
Luca
- We need DTDs, any volunteer? Netbeans can generate a DTD
from an XML file, that might be a start....
- Shawn's format extension must be integrated
- todo: extend usage of Sourceforge site tools (bugtracker, news etc.)
- todo: register project within sf foundries
- We have still several bugs to look at:
- Check
[dbforms] Update bug

- Correct dbforms to be able to work with
taglib pooling (tomcat 4.1.x)

This is a problem we _must_ sooner or later care about.
- Problems with bounded navigation after inserting
a row with auto generated keys
John has joined us this week, maybe he can care about the first one.
Any volunteers for the others?
- more or less bigger ideas that have been mentioned and should be discussed:
- extend interceptors to be able to add more parameters without
changing java interface
- replace default dbforms events by developer written events (Luca)
- check rules and generate cascading events for foreign keys
- extend dbforms to use enterprise javabeans as well as tables (John)
- calculating tag (John)
