Well, that tool can build pdf files *directly* from any win32 application that can select a printer device to print its documents.
Example: you could use MS Word or OpenOffice Writer or any other editor to open / edit a document.
Then you want to save your document as a pdf file.
So, you select the printer options of that program, and you choose "PDFCreator" as printer device (istead of... "Hx LaserJet zzz").
Then you click the "OK" button.
The PDFCreator gui should appear...
