After much work, I am still unable to get my application to function under TomCat 4.1.10. The problem is in the web.xml file. Using the web.xml file which functioned under Oracle 9iAS (and is the default file given in the docs), TomCat will not even recognize the existence of the application directory. If I change the web.xml file to the most basic version possible, I can at least open the directory structure under my application name. I am installing to the TomCat web-app directory and the web manager application shows the existence of the application but it will not run. The problem apparently centers on the servlet controller statements in the web.xml file but I do not know what to change. Anyone have any ideas?
