Yes, I have the log4j.jar in my lib directory. Should I be using the latest
log4j which is log4j-1.2.7.jar or just the log4j.jar which I have installed?

Could you please check if you have log4j.jar in your WEB-INF/lib
directory?

I'm using dbforms v1.1.3pr1 with tomcat 4.1.18 and jdk1.1.4 (full)
without problems, too..

Henner

Subject: [dbforms] No suitable log constructor exception in 1.1.3pr

I think I am getting close to the gettin g1.13pr up and running. I am now
getting a

"LogConfigurationException: No suitable Log constructor
[Ljava.lang.Class;@13beb5 for
org.apache.commons.logging.impl.Log4JCategoryLog"

I do not get this in 1.0.7. What do I need to add or change to eliminate
the error? I have checked and rechecked my commons files and I have all
required files in their latest version as far as I can tell.

Thanks to all for putting up with my questions in getting 1.1.13 pr running.

Roy McBrayer
