Hi Henner,
I must have some time to learn Jasperreports...Any idea how build this plugin architecture? I added the jasperreport support but it needs to add a new jar file in the depend files...
Now I'm working for a customer, in his "headquarter" - I have only my laptop (with a small amount of memory for a complex Java development environment) and very limited time for activities like "write open source code" >8^( .
The only activity I can really manage now is the conversion of the DbForms site...
I have a nice (IMHO) database-tree server-side "web component" I whould like to add as contribution to dbformsSo a plugin architecture would be great. In my opinion the only way would be to split the dbforms jar in a core part and a extension part.... Any other idea?
(see the screenshot at http://www.pow2.com/pdf/pow2cm.pdf , page 5/10 of the pdf document), with some Struts action classes useful to add / remove / move / rename nodes to the tree and to the underlying database records.
But I'd like to add it as a "not core" component to avoid dependencies for DbForms core with other libraries.
Well, I will start to think for a solution...
