If the resultsetvector is changed, what about forking developement and having a 1.1.3 release and that branch could go to stable non-beta, the other branch could be 2.0 with the new resultsetvector.

Does that make sence?  Could we maintain two branches.  How ambitious of a change are you talking about.
Someone pointed out some problems earlier (that I pointed out were solved by using NavFirst or Last before refiltering)

Could the following oddity be solved with your new resultsetvector.  If so, +1 and my support in debugging.

1. search priority 1, then apply ... no problems (1 displayed)
2. search priority 3, then apply ... no problems (3 displayed)
3. search priority 1, then apply ... "java.lang.NullPointerException" (ie no
record found) (i would have liked 1 to be displayed)

I have found this situation also occurs when sorting is performed.  again
with /testsuite/priority_viewTable.jsp
1. sort ascending,  rows 1-3 displayed
2. sort descending, row 1 displayed only
