Hi all,
First of all let me congratulate you on a product / project well done....
I have been using my own created tools for a very long time, but JDBFORMS
beats the hell out of it...... solves so many of my problems.....
Also very well documented, but I have a question (which might be in the docs..
I could have overlooked it).
When I generate, using devgui, the maintenance pages for two tables (one with a
foreign key to the other, the generated JSP do not seem to have included
the expected foreign key constructs like :
<db:select fieldName="owner_id">
<db:tableData name = "yy" foreignTable = "myTable"
visibleFields = "firstname" storeField = "id"/>
</db:select>
Instead it just includes a normal numberfield.... like :
<db:textField styleClass="clsInputStyle" size="11" fieldName="owner_id"/>
This is in all generated pages....
Is this normal behaviour ?? or can that be a problem with my MySQL jdbc driver ??
I might have missed this in the docs, for which I am sorry.
Again tx,
Fred
P.S. I cannot use the "<db:select " construct in lists since I do not want it to be
editable, but I would like to show some attribute, like name, from the referenced
table though... ho to do this ?
